That’s a bummer that they can’t get it sorted before the new year. Also doesn’t seem fair to me that you’d have to shoulder the cost of heat meanwhile.

I hope they can fix the issue for you and your neighbor soon. Dealing with no heat in the winter can be very stressful, especially with how cold I’m sure it gets where you are.

An excellent shave with minimal irritation. I really love the scent and performance of SSL.

I’m still not sure about this knot. It definitely doesn’t immediately impress me like the Quartermoon did. It’s more difficult to splay, which I guess means it has more backbone? I did set it about as high as I could to hopefully minimize this.

Either way, the bristles are plenty soft. Feels much nicer than the Yaqi synthetic I was using previously.

I’ve been considering Lonestar as my first NO soap, the notes sound right up my alley.

I’m hoping to find a deal on a used set at some point.

Oh this does sound really good. I might have to pick this one up.

Edit: if it ever pops up on shave_bazaar or m&m I guess. Looks to be sold out everywhere that I’ve looked.

My first go with this handle and knot made for a great shave. This synthetic knot is much softer than any I’ve used before, but it still has a little backbone. I’m certainly happy with my decision on this one.

I also find that the CF base does better when I start with a pretty dry brush. I usually get a solid lather when I remember this. :)

GTB++; it was my first artisan soap so I have a soft spot for it.
