The dem message of “we won’t do better but the other guy will do worse” failed. It was a bad message and it lost them the election against a terrible candidate. Voters need to be motivated to vote and that message isn’t motivating enough

Do you want there to be “camps” or do you not want there to be “camps”? I’m not quite sure. If you don’t want “camps” then the party opposing the republicans needs to get more votes than they did this time and using the same message or strategy again probably won’t achieve a better outcome. They need a better message, a better strategy, for all our sakes

Implying that you do want them now.

              Which makes you a fascist.

You make it seem like you’ll be cheering on the nazis as long as they punish people you don’t like. Which would make you a fascist.

Keep calling your own people Nazis, it deradicalizes them from your very extreme ideas and eventually they realize most people voting for trump aren’t Nazis. The more radical you get, the more rational people flee your ideology.

Whether this person voted for kamala or not that is fascist sentiment and its disgusting

I couldn’t find that comment, but if they said it, I’m 100% on your side condemning it. Fear statements like that are a fascistic tactic, but then, so is calling everyone who disagrees with you a Nazi.

It was RINO talking points. That’s different than the restructured right. RINOS are now the DEM party. Enjoy Liz Cheney, we were trying to get rid of her for a while. She’s your problem now.

Ummm, hey outside observer here. I saw a lot of dem leaning media during all this. Their was clearly ether little or ineffectual censorship in the left/right balance in media.

Case in point why would these results be so shocking if the media coverage was all against the Dems?

It’s NOT shocking because the media made it a point to not question or challenge trump while constantly questioning Biden and Harris. When trump became the oldest person to ever run for office they stopped talking about age.The media WANTS trump and always has. They don’t gaf about policy; they want clicks and eyeballs.

The legacy media is controlled by the Dems. That’s why so many quit watpo when Bezos stopped them from endorsing Kamala Harris. An unbiased news source shouldn’t be endorsing either candidate, and they all have been, for years now, and it’s been the Dem candidate every time.

Except Harris did mention Trump’s age a few times (after the first debate). If you didn’t see it, you only looked at the disinformation channels, or it got drowned out by them.

Right, it wasn’t the media harping on every single thing the Dem candidate did wrong while apologizing and making excuses for Trump at every turn. Going on and on about Biden’s age and then never bringing up age again once Biden dropped out of the race. No it’s all the Dems fault 🙄

Did you watch the first debate where Biden could hardly speak a sentence? They were right about Biden’s age. And they knew that Trump voters would never listen to them so what’s the point of going after him over and over?

At the end of the day the blame falls mostly on the campaign and on the party and they failed. They have to do better than this or they’ll fail again.

I didn’t sidestep. first of all “the media” did bring up trumps age I remember seeing it talked about. Also Biden’s age was a problem. Blaming this loss on the media is like blaming the refs when you lose a game. Yeah they might’ve been bad refs but it’s your job to win the game regardless. The way the media treats trump is not new and if the Dems didn’t take that into account that was their mistake

I agree with what MisterScruffy said. There were things that actually were within the democrats control that they could have done differently that would have allowed them to win. Blaming external factors outside of anyone’s control that you have no solution for addressing is completely unproductive, and just an excuse.
