    This indicates that most workplaces that that poster knows have an alligator wrangler on standby?

    I would like to know about the offices that have a wrangler on standby.

      There’s always that one guy that claims to go to the shooting range everyday and could wrestle a bear. At the very least he could keep the gator amused until animal control gets there.

    For future reference: If it’s not in south-eastern part of North America, assume it’s a crocodile.

    Because the only other aligator species in the world is a third the size and lives in a small part of China.

      It’s only alligator if it comes from the Florida region of the United States. Otherwise it’s just sparkling crocodile.

      Caimans are not crocodiles, they are in the family Alligatoridae, i.e. they’re alligator’s sister subfamily. In most of South America, you won’t find any other crocodilians.
