    “We swore to serve the American people and uphold our oath to the constitution across presidential administrations,” the 21 staffers wrote in a joint resignation letter, a copy of which was obtained by the Associated Press. “However, it has become clear that we can no longer honor those commitments.”

    Resigning isn’t courageous.

    It takes a long time to fire a long term fed, but if you resign a bootlicker takes your desk tomorrow and does what you wouldn’t.

      Those are not positions that take drop-in replacements, no matter how smart they are.

        If you’re trying to run it competently, sure.

        Do you think that’s what they want?

        You think that’s what Elmo and Trump have as a goal for the federal government?

      On the other hand, if/when a saner administration comes in, these are the people you would hire for senior positions due to integrity.
