Summary:
I downvoted pro-AI comments in a post in leftymemes community. It was LLM generated polandball comic (Which is objectively pathetic as fuck) that showed up on my feed, blocked couple of users who I thought were unhinged, and have blocked the whole instance on my client after realizing how rabid these morons are.
I didn’t go looking for AI posts like a vigilante.
One user in question got miffed for being downvoted and banned me from places they moderate.
I banned you and I banned that dipshit who posted on Fuck_AI and I have no regrets. You are awful people and your behavior is harmful to this community. YDM. If lemmy.dbzer0.com wasn’t as lenient as it is you’d have instance bans from here as well.

Can you unban me from your AI slop communities and apparently Europe ?? so I can Block the communities so they don’t show up in the All feed? Apparently that option goes away with a Ban so I still have to see your slop and a community I can no longer participate in.

You can absolutely block communities when you are banned from them, this is one of the most sad and pathetic excuses to be unbanned I’ve ever heard, request denied.

A post showing how the Block Community button disappears when banned is totally off topic in a thread about someone doing blanket bans apparently. At least someone else gave an alternate way to block instead of just going ‘yes you can’ and tossing around insults.
