This argument is illogical. Children of all ethnicities and religions are routinely forced to wear certain clothes or not wear others by their parents. Banning specific articles of clothing does nothing to change that.
Also, if children being forced to dress a specific way is a problem, than how is the Austrian state forcing children to dress a specific way acceptable as a “solution”
Arguments in favor of a hijab ban only make sense if you think hijabs are somehow uniquely harmful, a nonsensical and racist premise in my view.
