Just another Alaskan, loving my life in the SE with all the wonderful rain in Sitka! (Seriously - rain - I love it!) I work for the State of Alaska in a nonpartisan capacity, so there won’t be politics on my feed, but I am a political junkie IRL. I love growing things, taking pictures of things growing, being on my partner’s commercial trolling boat, and did I mention I love taking pictures? Former New Mexican, former English teacher. (Yes, I will die on the hill of the Oxford comma.)

@AllNewTypeFace@leminal.space Well, both towns are named Sitka. Honestly, I laughed on the 3rd or so page when he mentions “Sitka’World’s Fair.” The real Sitka is vibrant but small: about 9,000, give or take. During the 6 months without tourists we are definitely quiet. Lots of art and music, but it’s a small town vibe.
