Of course when everything he says is utter b*******, even satire about him seems plausibly true, except either way guaranteed there will only be negative financial result for anybody who puts money into whatever TF this is.

1·43 minutes agoRemember when we used to laugh at “Sovereign Citizens” who kept trying to get out of registering their vehicles & driving without driver’s licenses & traveling without passports & stop paying their mortgages etc?
The core idea of the Network State traces back to the 1997 book The Sovereign Individual: How to Survive and Thrive During the Collapse of the Welfare State, which imagined a future in which a wealthy class of “cognitive elites” would leave the United States for more pliant countries that would allow them to escape taxes and laws. The combined wealth of these elites would be powerful enough to create a competition in which weak countries would compete for their patronage by giving them whatever they want.

2·2 hours agoDid the aphids invest in the honeysuckle? Or did the honeysuckle invest in the aphids? And what is the monetary equivalent value of an aphid or a honeysuckle? Is the investment going well? 🤔

If I was poor how do you think I was able to pay out of pocket? I just didn’t have dental insurance because I didn’t have a job (which is the only way US citizens can get healthcare) because I had enough money that I didn’t need a job.
It only happened on rare occasions like fancy events. We weren’t there. But some photos still exist.
Nowadays when women want those hairstyles they just wear wigs. So much easier.

Humanities & Cultures@beehaw.org•Should we ditch the idea of three meals a day?
1·6 hours agoDo some people still honestly adhere to three meals a day just because it’s traditional or someone told them that’s the way it’s supposed to be? C’mon it’s 2026, we can do whatever we want. I eat when I’m hungry. I don’t eat when I’m not hungry. It could be any time of day or night as many times or as few times days I please. There doesn’t need to be a schedule.

4·6 hours agoExactly. That’s why I think men do that. Plus they probably get more attention.
And thirdly possibly latent homoerotic inclinations makes them feel a certain way to receive male attention in that way?

Privacy@lemmy.dbzer0.com•Your phone is about to stop being yours. — Starting September 2026, a silent update, nonconsensually pushed by Google, will block every Android app whose developer hasn't registered with Google, sign…
2·9 hours agoSame, but that only lets the user delay the update, not avoid it. They eventually force every update scheduled for a non-peak time in the middle of the night while we’re sleeping. Or please let me know if you’ve found a way around that.
Also last time I was at a dentist appointment check out when I told the lady I didn’t have insurance I’ll never forget the look of disgust she gave me. Is that because they get more money from insurance companies than they get from people who pay out of pocket? They charge higher prices to insured people, right?
