In my country, the central bank is creating inflation through its policies. That’s a common function of the central banks. (Who controls all these central banks ?)

Considering the fact that we’re already paying the taxes through the form of inflation, why should the government tax us on top of that ?

or spends them on things people don’t like or want, people will be angry even if they’re taxed very little.

Quite often it’s the vocal minority that wants wars. Media loves giving them attention, because war is good for business.

War is good for business !! There’s common sense in that statement. It doesn’t solve any problem as such, never did. And you would have to run along the history of Europe since the Greeks when it has ever been a peaceful place !!

As for the vocal minority, the government, the media and the religious institutions have always been hands in glove.

Most governments, and people in power in general, have realized that instead of doing what people want, they can instead raise a new generation of people to want what the government decides they should want through propaganda. At this point, even if your own country doesn’t employ much propaganda, the rest of the population will make sure you hear it anyway, kinda like herd immunity. So yes, a lot of people want war, to the point where they will happily pay more taxes to get it, all according to plan.
