I mean the US rarely uses its own soldiers for expanding its imperialism doesnt it? Its about recruiting the locals from its colonies and using them to overthrow or suppress any movement of self-emancipation. Helps that they keep these colonies poor so that there are plenty of desperate people to recruit from.

They failed to do this in China though which is a problem for them

They do it because they cant afford the manpower to do it themselves. European colonial powers did the same thing once their empires got big enough. Its just not as effective as it used to be. Soldiers in the modern day are super expensive to train and equip and it takes time too.

It’s Ukraines issue. Their conscripts are barely trained so they die faster, and eventually theres no one left to conscript.

It’s quite obvious that a war with China will be the empire’s final war. The only question then becomes, are they willing to nuke the world over it?

This current crop of leadership is very dead set on war with China. I wouldn’t be surprised if they start pushing out propaganda exclaiming “nukes aren’t that bad! At least we’ll be destroying those freedom hating Reds!”

It won’t be long before the USs entire strategy of projecting hard power will be to arm nukes. Let’s hope those all become obsolete soon too.
