Mae Martin’s parents once drove their car under a moose and now Mae is non-binary

I think it goes like… if you avoid the moose your gender stays the same. If you hit it your gender changes and if you drive under it you become non-binary ?

The near death experience probably helped her realize that life is far to short to be living as a gender they don’t identify with.

THE DIRECTORS OF THE FIRM HIRED TO CONTINUE THE RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY AFTER THE OTHER PEOPLE HAD BEEN SACKED, WISH IT TO BE KNOWN THAT THEY HAVE JUST BEEN SACKED.

THE RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY HAS BEEN COMPLETED IN AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT STYLE AT GREAT EXPENSE AND AT THE LAST MINUTE.

Lol that reminds me, my AP physics teacher remarked something like “I know it sounds cruel, but have pregnant women carry a backpack. It moves their center of gravity back to the middle of them and they can walk upright again. It’s what I did for my two kids”

Slightly related, she was a really good physics teacher.

Oooohhh - that’s a new take! I thought the back pain was due to having to carry extra weight and muscles not being trained for it. I never considered that the position of the weight might be a problem!

            (Note, I can’t get pregnant)

I don’t know if back pain is caused by the offset of their center of gravity or if its caused from the extra load. I only know she said to do that as a way to stand upright again

Hitting a moose with a car is really bad for the person(s) in the car. Their bodies are basically at windshield height and become a half-ton missile aimed at the front seat. It’s easy to imagine the emotional trauma alone being enough to motivate someone to make a significant life change they’ve been hesitating over for years.

Ray Raymond: You feeling better, Miss California?

Jaime Sommers: Yes, I needed a rest. You know, the excitement of all of this kinda snuck up and grabbed me from behind.
