Rom is the more formidable weapon. Dude concocted the cloaked self replicating mine. The TNG whip looks like a pool noodle… or worse. Did like its reappearance in ENT though.

Fun fact, one of the Ferengi in the TNG Pic is played by Armin Shimerman, a.k.a. Quark. I think he’s the one in the background but I’m not sure.
Makes sense. Need an actor thats okay with 3+ hrs of daily makeup? Call one who’s already put up with it.
They were just lucky he is also an excellent actor.

Pretty sure Rom’s actor was in almost ever Ferengi episode of TNG.
DS9 did so much right. I love Rom. Goes from an ‘idiot’ nobody to Grand Nagus and works to make Ferengi a better people.
