These women standing up to war wagons, soldiers, men in masks and guns and pushing and threatening them … these women are the real heroes of America at the moment.

When I saw this post I thought “I bet someone has helpfully commented that that armoured vehicle isn’t a tank”.

      Sure enough.

To be fair, neither are tanks.

Tanks aren’t what tanks were when tanks were created. But now tanks are tanks, but so are tanks.

Oh well then if we are just deciding what words mean then that in the picture is a tank.

I used to be a tank, then they changed what being a tank was. Now what I’m treading is a tank, and tanks seems weird and scary to me now.

The word tank was first applied in a military context to British “landships” in 1915 to keep their nature secret before they entered service.[3]

That’s what soccer moms use to pick up their kids from school, run them over in the driveway or kiil pedestrians and dudes lift them with big wheels when their dick is tiny. Now ICE uses it the intimidate a though woman that’s well dressed.

Everybody’s so worried about whether or not that’s a tank that nobody noticed those aren’t polka dots.
