Iran has quite a large Christian population, so this doesn’t surprise me. I’d rather they challenged my stereotypes of state-enforced homophobia and patriarchy. I don’t particularly judge for now, especially because Iran is the only serious regional opposition to the most vile country in the middle east, but it would be nice.
