I’ve never done this with someone I was romantically interested in but funnily enough I’ve done this with friends. And they’re still my friends.

Those were the best moments. Even without romantic intentions, those times at the end of the night when all the chaos has died down and you’re just closely connecting with your friends. It’s really the best.

Asked me to marry him. Bought a house together. Been 20 years and still 3am chatting (admittedly because rn he’s in spain and i’m still in AU and it’s mostly pictures of our cats and him in front of various buildings but still…)
