A city contractor who drove a snowplow through protesters last week had posts of Islamophobic and anti-protest content on her social media account in the weeks leading up to the incident.
The Star has learned that the name the driver gave to police is Athena Niggenaber, a Scarborough resident.
If she doesn’t face real consequences she’ll do it again and people may die.
Hopefully the people is her.
The company the driver works for said it issued a one-day suspension over the incident.
That’s almost like a reward. Don’t know what a one-day suspension entails with them though.
That’s an absolutely absurd response from the company. The individual and company should be held liable
