    At the time I thought that was a good reason why they would be better off if they chose to pursue statehood. We do much better with emergency response to states and we invest more in states for infrastructure and stuff. At least economically it would seem a strong positive.

    But then Trump happened and somehow our representatives are allowing him to restrict emergency response by personal spite and and self-enrichment, so I just don’t know anymore
