    Equivocating selfishness with evil only serves to dilute the word “evil” into meaninglessness.

    Most people understand that “evil” requires malicious intent to harm others. Mere selfishness does not qualify.

    Or do you believe a child who refuses to share their toys is “evil”, too?

      Hard disagree. Selfishness without regard for others is a perfect encapsulation of real-world evil, and the form of evil that does the most harm in the world. You can choose your narrow definition if you want, but i suggest it is a useless definition; more harm is caused by greed than sadism.
