I have yet to watch the premiere, watching recording of it’s Monday rebroadcast, so no spoils PLEASE!
The title is my begging for what it to be, but I fear The USA studios & Etc. will not allow it do what happened with UK’s ‘Ghost’ to USA’s ‘Ghost’. While slightly different, no significant differences, I have watched all of England’s ‘Doc Martin’ at least twice, the show was awesome! Of course, both ‘Ghost’ are good, but no way great, where ‘Doc Martin’ was awesome.

I sorta want the uk actor who played doctor ellingham to be the next doctor. while its great that tom baker brought this sorta high energy crazy vibe to the roll I think it would be cool for such an odd and stuffy doctor incarnation to be in the role for awhile.
I did not think of that, until today, just bring over as much of the whole cast as possible. Before I watched the first-episode, I thought maybe, it would been better to do it in ‘Denmark’, if not another Scandinavian country then. But afterwards, only the first idea or at least your idea made sense, because it was a copy of ‘Doc Martin’ & no translation needed. Also, I think actor Josh Charles (CORRECTION) doing a great job in that role.

Surprisingly, my elderly, crime drama, British & action media watching roommates, that watched all of & many times over ‘Doc Martin’, hate the series, while as I said already I loved it so far (1st two-episodes). The far most sensible of the two said, too much like ‘Doc Martin’’ & dislike the school teacher woman who is attracted to the doc. (one of the few things dislike, we agreed she is average at best actress & way too unattractive thin, where as ‘Doc Martin’s actress is great & curvy). I, a Vegan Beings Rights Person-Activist, also dislike, but not a huge dislike, that the doc’s aunt is still a non-our species farmer for our species’ consumption. Why could not this series’ aunt be a organic & Vegan/plants farmer? That would have been real for our times, as Organic-Vegan people are growing very more than ever!
funny I have been watching doc martin and really enjoying it, having not liked it when I did not watching it in order. Anyway I saw a commercial for best medicine and kinda thought. is this a us doc martin? if so there will need to be a lot more about preauthorizations and denials. doc the local proprieter just collapsed. get on the phone immediately and call the number on his insurance card and see if he is up to date with payments!!!
After I watched it, & got over how much I liked it, I thought of your comments about USA paper work Med. & UK public health care, I forgot there are places in The USA with public health care. Existing Maine, means your concern was un-warranted.

Somehow I can’t imagine the tone translating well, but who knows?

Since I am still in a wanting to make profits over all people’s health & staying a live, during COVID 19 & It’s Variants boycott & not missing any organized sports’ games & Etc., I think we might be in a different head space, when comes to things.

We are definitely of different minds about that, but if you are right & the character is good at the Doc. role, then I would be happy.
