You can hardly see any remnants of the plane in the videos from the first witnesses on the scene. Like it vaporized on impact.
the wings left their outline almost like some ACME physics. , the rest must be in the hole or made into extra small and exploded even smaller .

they fly much larger and safer jets, This one flew into some really bad weather that likely caused ice to form on the wingsand along with a high speed stall. All those things are much less common in a larger jet. Also this thing was 20+ years old, also no something the parasite class will find themselves in.
I am told that the cockpit audio is nightmare fuel to be avoided.
Before my curiosity kicks in too much: why specifically? Or just because you hear panic and then nothing?
Its the tremble, screaming and horror in the pilots voice that is nightmare fuel.
Like, most plane crashes are still somewhat controlled and the Pilot tries to save the plane, this is full speed & nose first into the ground with no control at all and in the last 20-30 seconds the pilot is fully aware she will die in a few seconds.
Horrific, luckily flying is very safe but this sucks anytime.

That number is only for commercial flights. The accidents per miles ratio for private jet is significant higher and even worse than cars.
That stat is private aviation, not just private jets. It includes small Cessna planes, for example. It also includes the bigger Cessna planes that are much more complex but still available to rich dentists and the like, which allows inexperienced pilots to fly them. That’s where most aviation crashes come from, not necessarily private jets which are normally flown by experienced professionals.
