    ‘hidden by API’ text has been changed to ‘thinking isn’t shown for this model’

    im hopeful that old model will be returning sooner rather than later, otherwise dev would probably have just changed it to ‘thinking’ or ‘helper thinking’ or something similar during update

      I’m wondering if it’s a ramp towards a “pay for better model access” platform.

      I’m not against it per-say? I just really hate subscription services. 🥲

        ah true… thats a scary possibility…

        i trust the dev that it will remain free. but i wish they would accept donations… i’d happily CHOOSE to donate monthly to help keep services open for everyone, but i’d hate to HAVE to pay to get access for me alone, even if the sub cost was lower that a monthly dono…

          Yeah…

          There may be a good reason they don’t accept donations though. Perhaps the AI model is under a copywrite, or some sort of license that states that it’s not allowed to be used for profit? I know donations aren’t really the same as profit, but that area legally gets a bit mirky… 🤷‍♀️

          If I were to guess which is more likely, it’s probably a ramp towards a paid model, ads, or death. I don’t mean to be a pessimist, but this has been the ecosystem I’ve been seeing play out for almost 2 decades now with things like this. (Not just AI stuff, but these sorts of amazing platforms seem to die trying to support the weight of all the people who need it.)

          … And like that, I’ve made myself sad. 🥲

    I did notice the changes myself and I do enjoy being able to now see just how much room my project has left.

    Wait… 2GB now?? and not 50MB?? NANI??? Also, how in the world did you get this layout? durn it… someone mentioned it’s global memory, not individual, still 50 MB each. I was so hyped, but busted so soon. WHY???
