Okay I know you guys are praising and saying a lot of good stuff about it, and I used it like twice.

One time I used the AI Helper to generate me a little game where you click a button and it increases a number. Fun little entry level mini game. It worked like a charm. It only took like maybe a maximum of 2-3 minutes.

Then recently, I had it edit the entirety of the AI Character Chat to add a broader “persona” system where you could switch between personas on the fly for different threads. I kid you not, when I said I was waiting almost an hour for this thing to finish, I mean it. It might have been because of the sheer size of the generator, but it took the AI Helper almost 20-30 minutes to edit the code of the generator just to add the “multiple personas” system to the existing generator.

I will say it’s pretty innovative and does its job, but it’s not without its cons. Sometimes it takes less than two minutes for small tiny changes or creating something super simple, while for bigger projects, it’ll take up to 20 minutes to generate something or even 30 minutes. Again, this is MY experience, you might have different experiences than me. I’m not hating or throwing shade on the AI Helper either, it’s a useful tool that does its intended job well.
