Obviously, yes. And further on weekends. Why is this controversial, tho?

I don’t re-clean my already clean kitchen when I’m not using it. It tends to stay clean til next time?

I eat one meal a day, typically at the end of the day. I clean before and after. Do you do this differently?

I think maybe the point is getting lost.

The original quote was “cleaning your counters more than once a day”, no?

So cleaning them before food prep, then cleaning up after, that’s twice. So right there, you’re agreeing that you clean them more than once a day.

I didn’t read op’s comment as “You have to constantly wipe your counters”. Instead, I just saw it as a fairly common statement that your counters and food prep surfaces should be cleaned before and after use anyway, so why does it matter if there’s a cat on them in between usage? You’re going to clean it before you use it anyway.

I agree with you, this shouldn’t be (and I don’t think it is) controversial. I think it’s just an easy misunderstanding.
