131·25 days agoThe term “soccer” originated in the UK as a shortened slang for “assoc(iation) football”.
The US didn’t come up with that term, like almost everything else, they stole it from someone. Don’t blame the U.S. for the UKs habit of abbreviating stuff.

1·5 months agoYeah I’ll normally do it every other string change. I play a lot, so I’ll go through strings every couple of weeks. Every other string change puts me at about once every 2-3 months for a wipe down and oil of the fretboard.
