A reasonable defense would be screen readers, or any other accessibility features. With the exception of headings or paragraph tags, formatting information isn’t relayed by a screen reader. Anyone using one would see the white text as normal text.

I’ve heard enough stories from teachers adding weird requests to instructions to see if students actually read the instructions, that I would say Madagascar as requested if I were using a screen reader, or the browser’s reader mode while working on the assignment.
