  • I used to do a similar thing when I was in middle/high school. I do not consider myself to be a great writer, but when I was in school, I did very well for what my teachers expected at my grade level (I liked to read a lot). Most teachers I had wanted us to write essays or stories and then spend the next few classes fixing up our rough drafts into a final draft. I knew my first rough drafts were better than most other students’ final drafts so I would purposely put in spelling and grammar issues and maybe spend a few sentences off topic. Those would be the things I fixed to create my final draft. Doing that gave me more time to focus on subjects I had a harder time with.

  • The word “own” in this context refers to the fact that you can keep a private copy of the game for yourself. What you are arguing is that the consumer does not own the copyrighted assets used.

It’s like saying that even though I bought a Toyota Camry, I don’t actually own it because I’m not allowed to make a copy of it and sell it. You could use that logic to say no one really owns anything. Maybe youd have a point, but not really in the context if what anyone else here is saying.

  • Ahhh, I was still a bit too young to remember much about the first game. Mostly just memories of my father playing it. I do remember watching a video explaining that Silent Hill 2 did kinda fuck up the lore between all the games. Since it was so self contained and specific to James’ experience, any reference to Silent Hill 2 in the later games didnt make any sense. If Pyramid Head was created by James’ guilty conscience, he shouldn’t have appeared in later games.

  • I’m the same way for the most part. The only reason I’m right handed at specific things is because those things were made to be done by right handed people. Computer mice, guitar, etc. I know there are lefty versions but you have to go out of your way to get them.

Also, I think the convention of right handed/left handed guitar is backwards. It should be based on fretting hand, not strumming hand. Although I play the standard right handed guitar, it felt natural for me to fret with my left hand. Lots of lefty guitar players are otherwise right handed people
