Nobody tell him that Bruce Wayne is Batman!
To quote Abed, cool, cool cool cool.

I just go here everyday and tell it, the void doesn’t judge, it just accepts and disregards.
I use Mint btw.
Wow I had never heard of that before, I just spent some time reading up on it and I think I’ll have to give it a try. Thanks!
Gotcha
See I would have trouble breaking it down, hence why I need the AI to help me there. I’m glad you found a system that works for you though.
BTW ADHD isn’t an aspect of autism, they can coexist but they are separate.
Less prison, more camp for concentrating abductees.
For the last few weeks YouTube has been serving me ads for ladies Gillette razors. My Google profile shows I’m a 41 year old straight male. Most ads are totally not relevant but this one is… out there.
This. Everybody wanted it to be AGI right out of the gate. It’s just a tool, like Photoshop. It will get better over time but it’s not the end all be all.
Mandatory showers upon arrival, I’m sure.
When I saw the ad for this on my Roku I thought it was just some western channel based on the name and color scheme. It wasn’t until I saw an article about it that I even knew what it was. I looked into it, my thoughts are, terrible branding, terrible marketing, terrible discovery on the website.
I don’t see anything that I don’t already own that I would want to watch, but since the website search sucks I don’t know if there’s more to see or not.
Based on all that, I’m not even willing to blow $2.99 one time to see if it gets better in the app because I doubt it will.
Edited. That’s what I get for trying to type fast while my dog is heading for the door after doing her business.
Seriously, the AI hate gets old fast. Like you said it’s a tool, gey get over it people.
Valid concern, and yes I’m fully aware of AI hallucinations, I fact check everything. Thankfully most data points have a citation link so it’s at least easy to verify.
When I create a gpt for a specific task or subject I will give it guidelines as to where it can pull data from.
I switched 10 years ago, started on Ubuntu and hated it, switched to ZorinOS and gained understanding, then switched to Mint and found a home. I now recommend Mint to all windows refugees, it’s layed out similar enough to be intuitive and let’s you learn Linux at a comfortable pace.
Tl;Dr - switch to Linux Mint when leaving windows.
I’m only ADHD but I get the project paralysis all the time when faced with something big. Recently I’ve been typing up a few lines of what I want to do covering the big picture then I list out in bullet points the key features or tasks. Once I have that I upload it to chat gpt and ask it to develop an outline with details or instructions for each bullet point.
Sometimes I have to refine my wording to get it to work, but I’ve finished several projects that sat for months and one for years just by using this method. I’ve also created a dedicated gpt to become an expert on the one really big project where it was the research that was holding me back, then just asked it questions until I had all the data I needed.
It’s not perfect and you still have to do some work, but it’s been working for me so I thought I’d share.
Well that explains the condescending tone. Thanks for the heads up.
A lot of very important things have already been suggested and I agree with most. I won’t just re-state what others have said, instead I’ll suggest a pet peeve of mine.
People who say “I love that for you”. It’s like nails on a chalkboard to me, it’s always said in such a condescending and disingenuous way by every person I’ve ever heard say it, I just can’t stand hearing it now.
I get the centralization concerns, but I would think that’s on the consumer since there are other options. As for the fascist content, as another commenter said, they could risk their safe harbor if they started stated regulating content that they weren’t legally required to regulate.
Just my thoughts.
