Yep! Japan (only other country I have experience with) has a government run health insurance. Since the interests aren’t profit, the prices remain reasonable even without it

The kims all understand political philosophy at the very least. They’re intellectuals well read in socialist theory (or, at least, il-sung was. The others I can only assume). For the most part they can run a country most of its people like smoothly
