Maybe that’s been the joke for centuries. The rapture happened but nobody made the cut. Seems consistent with the Bible.
The left of center position is “If you’re against abortions, don’t get an abortion.” The right’s position is “Abortion is always wrong and nobody should be allowed to do it.” It does not follow that they’ll be content to stop at the local level, or the state level, or even the national level. The only reason anybody thinks that it might is marketing (lying).
I’m wondering, now… Does Gimli say the word “Legolas” even once in the movies?
Seems like we’ve reached the point where most voters realize that virtually all government shutdowns have been the Republicans’ fault.
Being above the fray is what the Supreme Court was intended to be, so you can’t fault people for initially assuming that.
I think most people actually do.
Since the Roe v Wade verdict was leaked, I feel like the media has been glossing over the revelation that there’s just as much wheeling and dealing in the Supreme Court as in any of the other branches.
It’s fine, it’ll just come right back.
Why are we giving Trump an excuse to drop his failure of a running mate?
Surprising nobody
I wonder if this is part of the reason he’s been even more racist lately.
Cockgoblin was always a favorite of mine. It’s just so fun to say.
Make sure it’s a duck you’re taking home and not a goose. The goose will fuck you up.
I thought Trump was making up the stuff about post birth abortions, but then I watched a 78 year old baby get aborted on live TV.
Keep talking, dumbass. Let’s see how many swifties you can make turn out.
You’re confusing neutrality with objectivity.
Edit: Neutral (adjective): not helping or supporting either side in a conflict, disagreement, etc.
Are you a big enough baby to downvote because you don’t like what words mean? Neutrality and correctness are two different things. Objectivity does factor in what the facts are, neutrality doesn’t.
Seems like a problem springing from the press’s bias towards neutrality, or how sometimes a politician is objectively wrong but the press treats them with kid gloves for fear of being accused of unfairness.
They can’t print Trump’s entire 3 minute rant, and they’re scared to characterize it as meandering or incoherent, even if that’s the best description. So, they print a single line from his rant and provide their own context.
I guess if this is more applicable to me after I change “super rough day at work” to “normal, soul draining day at work”, I should probably also change “quitting my job” to “career change”.
In hindsight, there may have been signs…
