  • This is a ridiculous quote but probably only to us. This is the ideology I was taught. We learned all about colonialism and its horrors in school, but the conclusion was never that colonialism was bad. The conclusion the kids reached based off the information provided, the take away the teachers wanted to leave, and of course our governments position boils down to - ‘it sucked, but we wouldn’t have our great amazing world now without it :^)’

  • why are the cons resorting to the comrade harris thing, more than any other democrat I can remember they are leaning on this weird marxist angle where they make shit post tier commie posters of kamala

this is going to be laughable on the face of it to any center leftie and the further left you go the more you’re just creating a subconscious connection between kamala and communism that might even rouse a communist to give a shit just for the sick prop posters alone

I guess it’s just for the cons to share and updoot each other

yes, for sure. I think we all do.

I think it requires a reframing of the mind. The ‘smart-dumb’ scale is an oversimplification of human intellect. It was never entirely accurate. Ignoring intellectual disabilities, every human is equally as capable as being as smart as any other human. We’re the same kind of animal.

The true factor in intellect is your curiosity. Some people are naturally curious of different subjects and will learn more about those subjects. Some people are incurious about most subjects and won’t learn much at all. Most of the traditionally ‘smart’ people you think of were just sufficiently curious in whatever field they’re qualified in. None of the traditionally ‘smart’ people you think of were born smart.

Foster your curiosity. If you know what excites you, you’re already half way to intelligence.
