As compared to what? The inflationary rates of the rest of the world? Because things cost more everywhere and comparatively the US weathered that better than about anywhere else. Real Wages have also have increased a lot to compensate in comparison as well. US is smoking other countries in this regard. People ARE dumb because they lack the critical thinking skills to actually look what’s going on.

The Inflation rate is lower than most other countries AND real wages have risen much more in America compared to peer countries as well. Each one of them would trade their numbers with the US in a heartbeat.

Seems small but something like this could kill this plane as a passenger jet if enough people are avoiding em.

Houses are pretty great for a few factors

• Not sharing a wall with a neighbor
• being able to be louder in general
• Not being woken up by neighbors
• Not getting your home infested with bugs because of having a nasty neighbor
• No loud honking at night
• Not having your door accidentally knocked on to ask if your apartment neighbor is home when they’re not answering their door
• Parking in your own garage
• Having a yard for your dog/kids to play in

Apartments fucking suck in so many ways. I get that they’re pretty handy in City Skylines where everyone bases their urban planning experience from but there is a reason people prefer to live in house and it’s because it gives you separation from other people in a way apartments cannot.

iirc computing is pretty gimped in Dune as well because of previous issues with AI, humanity limited development on that front and focused on developing human capabilities instead, which is where spice came into play…it like super charged your cognition in order to navigating ships through space or something like that. More likely to RMA than go that route. Valve should’ve QA’d their updates so should cost em some money if they’re gonna push untested stuff to prod. If you gotta wipe and start over, best to do it with a fresh deck.
