The famous “talk and remove all doubt” zone
The famous “talk and remove all doubt” zone
It’s Vance. You have any idea what’s in the couch cushions?
At this stage, there should be some democrat comedy TV program with guys in dumb and dumber tuxedos spouting the weirdest things about republicans. Things like the Trump signs in the front yard contain a camera and act as a 5G antenna.
It’s why critical equipment has a very tight delivery deadline. If it arrives a minute late it’s assumed somebody tampered with it along the supply chain and the equipment is rejected.
Usually we get an AI winter, until somebody develops a model that can overcome that limitation of needing more and more data. In this case by having some basic understanding instead of just having a regurgitation engine for example. Of course that model runs into the limit of only having basic understanding, not advanced understanding and again there is an AI winter.
“We shall take all action possible providing it doesn’t cost us any effort or profit.”
Colonizers found the inhabitants didn’t wanted to take part in the colonizer’s society as they inhabitants had their own subsistence life. So they decided to tax the land and burned the huts from those that didn’t pay tax. So now they inhabitants were forced to borrow money and work in society. That’s how things work.
That’s normal. The printing press spread scientific knowledge and informed people with newspapers. It also gave us ad riddled glossy magazines and political pamphlets. Same for radio and TV.
Born outside the USA, so Elon can’t run for president.
“Our lies are lethally backfiring and we desperately need to blame someone else”
I usually say what unit of measurement we’re counting in: days, weeks or months. For more detail, more specs are needed.
Government should set up a site where companies using loot boxes have to open a tax box to know what tax they’ll pay that month, to keep things exiting, with the option to buy more tax boxes for a few million per box.
Another 1-in-a-100 year weather event hits. They’re getting quite common for once per century disasters.
Easier said than done. They basically need infrastructure to handle months (average month before 2000) of rain falling in a few days over several countries. Huge storm canals, dams and water basins that can divert and hold up to half a year of rain and that’s assuming climate change doesn’t make it even much worse in a decade.
Understaffing and long waiting lists are the main reasons behind patients’ frustration with health workers
Italy’s legislation has kept wages low, leading to overworked and burned out staff at hospitals
many health workers to leave Italy in search of better opportunities abroad
Add some violence and the death spiral of the health care system accelerates.
Sounds exactly like Boris Johnson, prime minister in the UK and notorious for making up stories. He basically steered the UK economy in a dive and parachuted out so another imbecile was at the wheel when all the warnings began to blare. Stories don’t make for good policies.
It’ was a status thing. Those with manual labor jobs usually can’t have long nails, so long nails means they’re above manual labor. So the rich in the past did that, and now everybody wants to do that so and it becomes a beauty thing.
That’s human history. The wealth gets pulled towards a small elite because king, high priest or banker. It reaches a peak and then there is a revolution, the debt records are burned and the land is redistributed. Measures are out in place to prevent wealth concentration and the new elite starts chipping away at the measures. Rinse and repeat.
We know this but always choose to ignore the dynamic.
