SS United States is a retired American ocean liner that was built during 1950 and 1951 for United States Lines. She is the largest ocean liner to be entirely constructed in the United States and the fastest ocean liner to cross the Atlantic Ocean in either direction, earning the Blue Riband for the highest average speed since her maiden voyage in 1952, a title that remains uncontested.
MacOS 15 is too new and not supported on my machines.
EDIT: if you’re curious, these are the devices supported by Sequoia. My macs are much older than that and the hardware still works great, which is a testament to the build quality. I just wish they still got security updates.
No, apple devices tend to have good hardware that lasts a long time.
I have several apple computers at home that still work fine except they don’t get software updates any more because they’re old :(
Just because windows does the same thing doesn’t mean it isn’t sad that I’d have to buy new hardware just to use mac OS again.

You can call me Aaron Burr, By the way I’m droppin’ Hamiltons!
Google pixels have pretty long support.
Not sure how we got so lucky with Apple support on old iphones. The situation is not so good on old computer hardware. Neither is windows.
You can use an Apple product without being in the cult, but the cult still exists.

Good luck
There are two different mechanisms involved in the production of a tan by UV exposure. Firstly, UVA radiation creates oxidative stress, which in turn oxidizes existing melanin, leading to the rapid darkening of the melanin. UVA may also cause melanin to be redistributed (released from melanocytes where it is already stored), but its total quantity is unchanged. Skin darkening from UVA exposure does not lead to significantly increased production of melanin or protection against sunburn.[9] In the second process […]

Causing rape of trans prisoners for social control
Not to be confused with Vibe coding.
In the context of incarceration in the United States, V-coding is the common practice by carceral staff of subjecting trans women to sexual assault by placing the woman in the same prison cell as an aggressive male inmate in order to placate the male inmate.[1][2][3] This practice has been known to have caused the daily rapes of multiple trans women, and the sexual assaults of 58.5% of them.[4][5][6] V-coding is done to pacify the male inmate, with the goal of reducing their propensity for violence against other inmates, according to prison authorities and one inmate.[1][2] The term has also been used to refer to the broader systemic sexual abuse of trans women in male prisons.

The Fediverse (commonly shortened to fedi)[2][3][4] is a collection of social networking services that can communicate with each other (formally known as federation) using a common protocol. Users of different websites can send and receive status updates, multimedia files and other data across the network. The term Fediverse is a portmanteau of federation and universe.[5]
Proposed symbol for the Fediverse from 2018, the “fedigram”[1]
Works fine here.

It makes internal sense because they named the blog-post without using 3.
But it doesn’t make sense to me either, because they are releasing the 3rd of something, and i have no context re: why they wouldn’t count to 3, unlike with valve.

A few days ago i saved a post from someone who recommended In Ear Monitors with a Bluetooth Adaptor as the ideal solution. I can’t find my saved post, but they even recommended specific brands.
The theory is that you get more bang for your buck because in ear monitors are a more competitive market? I wish i knew more

Cyclosporiasis is a disease caused by infection with Cyclospora cayetanensis, a pathogenic apicomplexan protozoan transmitted by feces or feces-contaminated food and water.[1] Outbreaks have been reported due to contaminated fruits and vegetables. Because the oocysts of Cyclospora must sporulate in the environment for 1–2 weeks before they become infectious, direct person to person transmission is very unlikely,[2] but it can be a hazard for travelers as a cause of diarrhea.
Quick facts Other names, Specialty …
Cause
Cyclosporiasis primarily affects humans and other primates. When an oocyst of Cyclospora cayetanensis enters the small intestine, it invades the mucosa, where it incubates for about one week. After incubation, the infected person begins to experience severe watery diarrhea, bloating, fever, stomach cramps, and muscle aches.[1]^
The parasite particularly affects the jejunum of the small intestine. Of nine patients in Nepal who were diagnosed with cyclosporiasis, all had inflammation of the lamina propria along with an increase of plasma in the lamina propria. Oocysts were also observed in duodenal aspirates.[3]
Oocysts are often present in the environment as a result of using contaminated water or human feces as fertilizer.

Hearty, K. (2025). ‘Standing with Soldier F’: Bloody Sunday, disrupting the degradation ceremony and the court of public opinion. Punishment & Society, 27(1), 109-128. https://doi.org/10.1177/14624745241264297
There’s an edit war taking place about putting Soldier F’s name in the article. It’s pretty easy to find with web search including in an Irish magazine that editorializes against him but is still probably RS. I won’t get into it here myself but the magazine also accuses the trial judge of presiding over a cover-up. ~2026-38271-65 (talk) 19:36, 4 July 2026 (UTC)
Edit war would imply wrongdoing on both sides, when only one side is at fault. The name is a BLP violation per Talk:Bloody Sunday (1972)/Archive 5#RfC about naming “Soldier F” in the Bloody Sunday (1972) article, and will not be mentioned in any article without explicit consensus (meaning a new RFC, but given the not guilty verdict it’s unlikely the result will change from before). FDW777 (talk) 19:39, 4 July 2026 (UTC)
The RFC was about a single article, not “any” article, and it was inconclusive, but thanks for the link. I’d say that if the name becomes widely published (right now it’s published but not widely) then continuing to suppress it would be pointless. On a separate matter, I’d be interested to see more in the article about the legal particulars in the trial (I’m in the US and don’t know how UK trials work). E.g. why wasn’t there a jury? Anyway I just heard about this case and don’t want to linger on it too much since it’s outside my usual topic areas, but there are things that could be said. It’s interesting that Soldier G’s name is also still suppressed. Soldier G participated in the incident alongside Soldier F, but he died sometime later. ~2026-38271-65 (talk) 20:05, 4 July 2026 (UTC)
Per WP:ONUS it’s up to those wishing to include to obtain consensus, and the idea that the RFC somehow doesn’t apply to another directly related article won’t fly. The trial was non-jury as a result of the Justice and Security (Northern Ireland) Act 2007. Essentially, there was a fear that any nationalists would automatically vote to convict whereas any unionists would vote to acquit. So rather than end up with a deadlocked jury it’s seen as fairer to let a judge decide. FDW777 (talk) 20:15, 4 July 2026 (UTC)
