Liberals only care about aesthetics. That’s why they make such a fuss about Trump. Biden helped turn Gaza into rubble but he kept smiling and lying about working towards a ceasefire and that’s what’s important to them. Trump on the other hand is honest about what he’s doing and that’s the problem.
People should vote to gauge strength, show solidarity with their movement and demonstrate how to those unaware that the system isn’t working and therefore requires replacing it with one that will.
It’s a fun tid bit to say that purple was a rare dye so it got used by and associated with royalty. Because it was rare it’s also the least common colour on flags.
I don’t think people associate it with royalty anymore now that we can mass produce all kinds of colours though.
We already arrest people for animal abuse, eating meat just isn’t considered animal abuse by current society. If society needlessly killing animals as animal abuse then those responsible for killing billions of animals each year from factory farms will have a high price to pay.
Personally I don’t believe things should go further than life in prison.

Does it give them sufficient nutrients? Are they getting enough stimulation and exercise from not having to hunt their food? If so then it doesn’t matter what you feed them.

People who unironically use the word “tankie” would say it’s someone who uncritically supports communist governments, but if you ever look at someone using it, it’s always because they are uncritically against all communist governments and so they interpret nuance or historical understanding as blind loyalty to communism.
There are animal welfare groups. Some even break into factory farms to expose how unethical they are. Countries even put up laws from filming in slaughter houses because they know how shit they are.

People do have that option though. It’s not cars vs non-existent rail transport. It’s meat vs beans.

The fact that now supermarkets have entire vegan sections or vegan variants of non-vegan products is proof of a deman for vegan products. People that could be spending money of meat, are spending on vegan alternatives instead.
The argument doesn’t make sense because it treats the situation like it’s in a vacuum: there’s a dead cow, might as well eat it.
This ignores reality. That cow was slaughtered to meet the demand for meat. By choosing to purchase meat you are responsible for that demand and so farmers will continue breeding cows for slaughter.
Less people buying meat = less cows being bred and slaughtered.
They count people who were never even conceived because people were having less children to pump up the 100 million.
Yeah “lesser evilism” always supposes the choice is being made in a vacuum where there’s only 2 options and nothing can be done about it later, there will never be another choice.
Obviously if you were presented with two options and that was it. You would always pick the lesser evil.
