There should be no profits, no bonuses, and no dividends until every worker (not employee, it doesn’t matter what your relationship with the company is if they benefit from your labour) is making at least a living wage with full benefits. Executive pay should be capped at a multiple of the pay of the lowest paid worker and of the average pay paid to all workers.

Increasing minimum wage puts more money in the economy which people will spend which puts more money in businesses so they can pay their people more putting more money in the economy.

The only reason the wealthy don’t like this is because their money passes through the hands of the unclean masses instead of going directly into their offshore tax haven accounts.

The biggest danger to US democracy is not Donald Trump or the Project 2025 christofascists, it’s the crushing ignorance of the US population. The gutting of the public education system means that many if not most Americans don’t understand that, “fascist” isn’t just a name like, “poopie head” that you call someone. It has a definition and clearly defined policies/behaviours that closely align with Trump/Vance/Johnston and their enablers. Communist and Marxist are very clearly defined things. Harris/Walz are pro business which means they are definitely NOT communists or Marxists.

If the US population were better educated and more knowledgable they would dump these Retrumplican clowns and rebuild the Republican party from scratch.

Trump is a useful idiot. The real threat to democracy is the Heritage Society, Project 2025, and the christofascists using Trump to gain power. They telegraphed their intentions when they said that the democrats were only electing Biden and Harris so they could kill off Biden and install Harris. I guarantee that their plan is to get Trump elected, kill him and Vance, and install the christofascist speaker of the house president.
