A viable third party candidate. Before anyone says it, Jill Stein is not it. Alternately, a voting method that allows voting third party without just enabling a GOP sweep (again).
It’d be great if this resulted in some major revision of the Democratic party from within, but I’m not holding my breath. I will, however, continue voting for the “less bad viable option” if the “more bad option” is on par with Trump.

I’ve spent the better part of the last year trying to convince people to hold their nose and vote blue to stop exactly this from happening, and that clearly was for nothing… I’ve got a lot of anger that I’d love to redirect at this new source of outrage. If you’ve got any insights on developing movements to rally around, I’d love to hear about it.

Are you specifically looking for something to play against each other? There’s some pretty good options for co-op games with crossplay, and that might make for a more friendly experience, but if you’re in the mood for something competitive, options are a little more limited.

This is really the worst part of this whole thing. If a ‘normal’ politician with his exact platform had won the election, it wouldn’t feel nearly as bad. It’d still be awful, but not nearly as bad. The fact that he’s getting away with all of this shit, that’s the real kick in the teeth. It’s a complete hemorrhage of justice and it really just hammers home how utterly fucked the system is. There is no justice, unless the perpetrator is poor and/or brown, and that should piss everyone off, regardless of political affiliation.
A man with 34 felony convictions can’t win the presidency in a nation where trust in institutions is high. It’s only in a culture where the justice system has long since lost its legitimacy that a man with such a thick criminal record as Trump glides by relatively unremarked. That one man can so effortlessly game American institutions to his own benefit says as much about the decrepit state of America’s institutions as it does about the moral decrepitude of the crook.

If only the media wasn’t completely dominated by the billionaire class, we might actually be able to organize around collective outrage, but most people seem content to just consume whatever Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos and Donald Trump tell them to consume and not think beyond that.
That honestly doesn’t look like it would be bad to use. If you’re holding it close to your chest, that seems like it would have your hands in a more natural position, so it’s probably ergonomically better, for some people.

This doesn’t sound like it’s actually rewinding gameplay (as in like, Prince of Persia Sands of TIme style rewinding), which is what they seem to be trying to imply, but rather it sounds like it will just let you watch a replay of your gameplay to review it and see what you did wrong, which you can already do. I think all modern consoles (and Steam, etc.) have a ‘Save last 30 seconds of gameplay’ style feature. This is just adding a button to the controller to view that recording, from the sound of it.

I don’t understand how this many people see everything that he’s done and said, and still voted for him. I just do not understand. I don’t want to live on the same planet as these people, nevermind in the same country.

Yeah, well, incidentally, ranked choice voting was on the ballot in 2020. We had a sign out encouraging people to vote for it, and I talked it up to whomever it would listen when political discourse came up, but it didn’t pass, so here we still are.
It’s about who has a chance of winning. If you’re trying to argue that any candidate other than Harris had a chance of beating Trump in this recent election, you’re kidding yourself.
I’ve said this before and I’ll continue saying it: Trying to inject a 3rd party candidate into the presidential race is foolish. A much better tactic would be trying to push for 3rd party candidates in smaller races for local / state government, or congress. Doing that is a lot easier, and can make small incremental changes that add up over time. There simply isn’t a realistic way for a third party candidate to compete in the presidential race until the voting system is changed.
