I think it’s his mustache, his haircut and maybe something about the lighting in the Wikipedia photo. If you search for other images of him (Russell Keith Dardeen), could probably pass for somebody in his late twenties or thirties.
I wouldn’t be so quick to judge. The article says that he and his girlfriend just had an argument, so he’s probably really upset and didn’t take notice. He could have been intoxicated as well, but we don’t know.
