this is a premium device
Paired with…
Doesn’t support SteamOS
Hmm…
Because buyers of premium devices famously have time to screw around with installers and OSes that aren’t their first choice…
I assume the logic is “every game runs on Windows”, but I feel like they understimated how sticky SteamOS is for folks who have tried it.
I experience so much more playing, and less fucking around, on my SteamDeck, than I did on my Windows gaming PC.
What language is the CLI written in?
Yes, running a CLI from inside a container can be a pain, but it’s not a big deal for the people asking.
I would just provide a trivial Dockerfile and see if anyone uses it.
You’re allowed to need some space. You may feel better if you say so, rather than ghosting.
Something like:
“Sorry I’ve been ignoring our friendship, I’ve needed some space. I want to still be your friend, long term, in honor of what we’ve shared. I might still be quiet for awhile, but I’m okay and I appreciate you.”
Friendships can go quiet for years and still be friendships, if both people don’t mind.

This seems like a job for a WordPress blog or GitHub pages.
I’ll be happy to be your evil grand vizier, if you need one.
I’ll be super chill to hang out with in my palace, while my Grand Vizier takes care of day to day business.
This is a delight, and you are correct. That said, in the spirit of this silly thread, I provide solutions, below:
If I buy a house worth 950000, would I only be allowed to save 50000.
Yes. It will be time to get some roommates.
- what about if the house increase in value so that it is worth 2 million, should I just accept that I loose 1 million?
Yes. Or rather, exactly half of the house. Time to rent a storage unit, and put up some tarps to divide the entryway.
What about stocks?
Better sell some.
Inflation or Deflation, when/how will you update that limit?
Cost of living increases have long been understood and easy enough to calculate.
But - when I’m global leader, COLA for millionaires will only start after exactly as many years as the local minimum wage went without updates.
Crisis on Two Earths has, indeed, been done.
It would have been great to call it “Crisis on a Couple Earth’s”.
innocent wompra
I’ve always assumed that womp rats, being roughly 2 meters long, were intended as a kind of R.O.U.S. (Rodents of Unusual Size) and are presumably equally aggressive and dangerous.
I realize it’s a stretch, but it’s been stuck in my head canon since I first saw Star Wars.
Yes. To be fair, free is too high of a price to add an EA game to my Steam collection, to the distaste goes in both directions in some cases.
For me, the item from Amazon is sometimes something completely unrelated to what I ordered…
Avoiding Amazon has spoiled me, lately.
He does look like he’s going to give himself a heart attack.
they say it’s worth it
Narrator: They did not.
Agreed. The biggest reason Zoom took off is that folks could join a video chat from any platform simply by opening a link in a browser.
I understand the distrust for Proton, but I can’t help but notice that this could be a huge upgrade for folks fleeing from Microsoft and Google suites.
Edit: But for anyone who wants to conference call with a clean conscience, check out Matrix.org.
YouTube with a custom app seems to be the best way to actually watch your own chosen subscriptions, rather than bent force fed by the Google algorithm.
I’ve heard folks talk about how to get this from regular YouTube, but it’s wild to me that that put up with having to go to all the trouble with the official app.
Nebula is great.
It’s pretty funny to watch a quick “check out our extended content on Nebula” video exit, then just immediately watch the extended content roll along with a thank you message. (Many creators simply add the Nebula exclusive bits directly to the end of the video, on Nebula.)
It makes me feel like a fancy rich person.
