<Disclaimer: Alter mann erzählt von früher> Haha, das erinnert mich an eine geschichte, die vor rund 50 jahren geschah. Ich wohnte damals in der Schweiz und dort wurde in den wäldern von Graubünden ein tiger gesichtet. Es ging durch alle medien, die bevölkerung der gegend wurde angewiesen, in den häusern zu bleiben, während die polizei im gross-alarm fieberhaft nach dem tiger fahndete.

Naja, nach ein paar tagen haben sie dann den braven ausgebüxten Dalmatiner aufgegabelt und wieder nach hause gebracht. Das dorf dort heisst “Haldenstein”. Die leute haben es noch lange zeit danach “tigerstein” genannt.

Not sure, what the American thing was doing, but the European system would dispose of the poop very slowly, likely a litre per 100 km or so, droplet by droplet, and well burnt as long as the engine/exhaust is hot enough. I don’t think that that would do much to the environment, compared to the trains where the crapper was basically a hole in the floor. In those days, we didn’t have dump stations everywhere. Now, it would surely be unnecessary.

I remember reading about these types of systems back in the day. They also existed in Europe. They would send the hard waste through something like a chipper first and then very slowly inject the result into the hot exhaust, where it would be burned up and go out one drop at a time. But these never got a lot of popularity IMO. I guess, the system was just too complicated, too many moving parts, too bothersome to upkeep.

But then, if you travel far off the beaten track, through the Sahara or similar, it may be viable.

Albeit I am in my 70ies now and married for >40 years, I sometimes think that I should have myself castrated when I was young. Sure, my path of life would have been very different after that, but it would also have spared me a lot of stress, grief and drama. Looking at my dogs that were all spayed/neutered - they had a happy life, haha. But you never know, what such a decision brings and how it changes your life and if you really want that.

Also, you’re an adult. You decide if you inform your family. If you cannot take that decision by yourself, you may not be ready to take the other, bigger decision just yet.

Same here. If you type in - possibly several - non-English languages, these keyboards will be pretty useless. But if all you need is a burner for work, then, it’s likely a little expensive.
