The sad thing is something like diehard has a pretty nuanced plot compared to last few years of avengers movies.

“Dogwhistle” doesn’t mean “only republicans can use this”
But I never said it was that?
I still have my 3700X and it keeps up well enough with a 4070 even on cyberpunk.
Because recent movies suck, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, classic movies with just enough special effects to look good but not enough that spectacle compltely replaces plot. Basically everything in the predator/terminator/first 3 diehards time period.
iirc its some kind of dog whistle but I forget what it means.
The last time Ukraine was under Russian rule there was a literal genocide, so their backs are kind of against the wall, any peace with Russia is just a re-armament period until the next invasion.
There are some ancient relics from back before the humans went all culty and actually knew things. Those relics are shit like moon sized battle stations and guns that shoot blackholes (slightly backwards through time so their percieved arival is instantanious). All the stuff like city sized mechs and tower block sized tanks used to be fodder tier standard troops. So actually encouraging the humans to know things or think critically is just about the worst thing the elves can do considering the human state is really xenocidal.
I’ve just been watching older movies, there’s this amazing sweet spot when CGI just became a thing where the visual effects are passable but not so prevelant that the entire plot gets replaced with pointless explosions.
Meta is the only VR space for anyone not able/willing to spend as much on a VR headset as a mid range desktop (especially when that VR headset might not even function without the addition of a mid range desktop), and for people who want VR and a vague semblence of privacy there isn’t really any affordable headset at all.
British primary schools used to have something called ‘problem solving’ it was usually a simple maths problem described in words that required some degree of critical thinking to solve. e.g. A frog is at the bottom of a 30m well, it climbs 7m each day but in the night it slides 3m back down in its sleep. You can’t just calculate 30/(7-3) because it doesn’t account for the day the frog gets over the top and thus doesn’t slide back down in its sleep.
Not the most complex problem but pretty good for kids under 10 to start getting the basics.

You don’t need to wash rice, you can just leave it to soak in water for 30 minutes and it works just as well without the assload of effort.
If video games went with inflation then videogame companies would likely be bankrupt, at 120 (euro, dollar, gbp) each they’d be way more of a niche product than at 60. Besides sales volume has more than surpased inflation. The whole licensing thing has nothing to do with prices its just pure anti-consumerism.
This was my fear when they announced they got an AI to generate doom in real time with no code (well code for the AI but they got the game via a prompt) yeh its amazing but they were running oldschool doom at 20fps on top end hardware with additional AI hallucinations.
Next thing you know we’ll be simulating an entire universe just to play bee simulator.
And a lot of smart investment, see the UK for an example of a country that got a 50% share in the exact same oil fields and continues to run itself into the ground to pay oligarchs.
UK resident here, beware of rich people offering you trains.
And so weirdly unnecesary, A relative of mine lives in the countryside and genuinely has to use a lot of really beat up tracks, their landrover doesn’t have incredible frontal view but easily better than every single thing in this diagram.
I think because pagan religions are generally pretty tolerant of other forms of worship.
Assuming your well fed and have the assurance of dry clothes on the other side.
Isn’t their current level of inflation now what it was at when they decided it was time to enact emergency measures? measures that are still in place yet haven’t prevented inflation from continuing to rise.
