are those real? I don’t believe anyone ever said “it’s like linux but it works.”

Since it is inconceivable all scientific theories are correct, the most logical conclusion is they are all wrong.
And some don’t deserve to die. Can you give it to them? Then don’t be so quick to deal out death and judgement.
Isn’t it the same speed electromagnetic fields propagate through space?
Tariffs are a punishment for consumers looking for affordable products, designed to help government officials and their megacorp buddies avoid competition.
Is this true?
AI can allow non artist to output art that’s somewhere between terrible and mediocre.
AI can allow a great artist to dramatically increase their output and therefore revenue.
AI can’t really help mediocre artists much.
Luddites going to luddite basically. This exact same fear occurs everytime there’s a dramatic technology leap. Luddites like yourself will eventually quiet themselves.
Only art where you gather natural pigments with human hands, mix them yourself on a surface you made yourself out of fibers you gathered yourself shall be acceptable. Everything else isn’t actual art and is costing millions their jobs.
You know what’s funny? Professional artists probably use AI more than anyone. If not, they’re dumb. Why wouldn’t you use a tool that can 10x your output?
I don’t understand. Water is mentioned as a valid extinguishing means in the paper you linked, what’s your argument?
Great question. Gmail is still OK, but if love to degoogle more.
That was a long way of saying what I said, you just don’t see faranheit as ludicrously out of date, while I (and most of the world) do. Live your life as you wish friend. It’s a random brine mixture. Maybe it was less random back then, but now it’s an arbitrary mixture of water and salts in arbitrary ratios. Deal with it. Fahrenheit sucks.
Technically all arbitrary, but Fahrenheit is definitely on a whole different level of arbitrary.
Celsius - 0 = precise freezing point of water and 100 = precise boiling point
Kelvin - same as C, but shifted so 0 is the precise lowest possible temperature
Fahrenheit - 0 is the imprecise freezing point of some random brine mixture, 100 is the imprecise average body temperature of the developer
So why not make the temperature go to the hottest? Let me guess, 0 isn’t the coldest either in America, right? It’s just so arbitrary, and pure cope to say it’s the best way to describe temperature.
Thank God the government is here to protect us from dangerous people like this man. /s
Thank you. That argument bugs the heck out of me.
While I get the frustration with current systems, forcing people to do anything—whether it’s military service, farm labor, or any other work—goes against individual freedom. In a free market, people choose the jobs that fit their skills and interests, which leads to more innovation and productivity. Forcing everyone into the same mold is just another form of government overreach. Anarcho-capitalism believes in voluntary interactions and the power of markets to self-regulate. Let people work where they’re best suited, not where the state dictates.
Finally a German meme in my feed that I got.
Once the police arrive odds are someone is going to die.
These anti piracy commercials have gotten really mean.
Seems more reasonable than taxing unrealized gains, although I’d prefer if the debate was on how to cut absurd amount of spending rather than trying to find new tax streams.
