wallstreetbets is one of the few places on reddit where you can see some genuine discussion outside the astroturf/Elgin botnet.
you just have to ignore the casual ableism and veneer of “4-chan, but lib”. they don’t sound like redditors there.

I’m paraphrasing but Angela Merkel was asked why she supports sanctions on Russia for “invading” Crimea even though the US does it all the time… and she responded something like, “We know the Americans are bad but they never do anything to us.”
Propaganda and ‘color-revolutions’ are US biggest weapon. It’s hard to break out of an information bubble - even harder if the local elites/media owners have sold out to the Empire.
They’ll forget all of this once Trump removes his tariffs.
I’ve heard several voices sense a small ‘awakening’ (one eye-lit up) in EU fora. Lets hope the sentiment sticks around, and that US aren’t just scheming behind the scenes. It kind of looks too good to be true, and I’ve been fooled before by things i wanted to happen.
