The headline here is incredibly misleading. The commissioner did not prevent discussion on Flock, but rather required Flock opponents to nominate a spokesperson to speak on their behalf.
While it might be normal practice to allow every individual to speak, I don’t think this is a huge abuse of authority or anything.
It absolutely silents opposition in this case. They are trying to condense the sheer magnitude of opposition into 1 community spokesperson versus hearing over and over again how shit these cameras are.
