Meanwhile, I was recently trying hard to think of any infrastructure improvement I’ve seen in my lifetime in the US. All I could think of was “smart” traffic lights that detect cars. Everything else I see is from the 1970s or earlier.
Same in Canada. There’s an LRT line that’s been built where I live for over a decade now, they still haven’t finished it.
