New Rewards, New Ladder – Coming July 1

We wanted to let you know that the current Star Citizen referral program will be sunsetting on July 1 to make way for a completely revamped referral ladder—one that’s been rebuilt from the ground up with fresh rewards, updated milestones, and improved functionality.

The existing ladder has remained largely unchanged since its introduction, and it’s time for a refresh. The updated program will introduce a variety of Star Citizen and Squadron 42-themed rewards, with more frequent unlocks and meaningful incentives earlier in the journey.

We’re giving you a full three months’ notice so you have time to make a final push toward your next tier before the current ladder goes away.

We’re incredibly excited about what’s coming—and we think you will be too. Look ahead to the launch of the new referral ladder on July 1.

What happens to my current referral progress? The current ladder and its rewards will no longer be available after July 1.

Will the new ladder carry over my existing referrals? No, the revamped ladder will start fresh. Everyone begins at the same point.

Can I still earn rewards through referrals before July 1? Absolutely. The current program remains active until the new one launches.

Will the new rewards include ships or gear? We’re not revealing the full lineup just yet—but yes, you can expect a variety of Star Citizen and Squadron 42-themed rewards.
