Well yeah I guess you’re not wrong? Now that I think about it, buying twitter with his own Tesla shares was probably probably the dumbest thing he did so far. Hope he pays for it. With his 🧠🔫.

The original novel and movie MASH are worth a look, even if you’ve seen the show.

In the original version, Frank Burns is a decent surgeon, not a stooge like on TV. What makes him hated is his arrogance. If a patient lives it’s because Frank is a great doctor, and if they die it’s God’s will.

I see that a lot in MAGoo circles.

Sorry, maybe I’m stupid. But could you send me the name of the movie in DM? I know you only left out a *. But I can’t find anything. I’m an actual idiot tbh.

I’m not the guy, and this isn’t a PM. But the movie/book/tv show is called MAS*H.

Edit: Lemmy doesn’t seem to like the proper spelling and autocorrects it. It’s called MASH, with asterisks between the letters. (Acronym for Mobile Army Surgical Hospital)

Oh thank you so much, I was confused by the asterisk but apparently it wasn’t even necessary. Most confusing asterisk ever tho haha.

I wish I could tip you. Have a nice day!

              Asterisks are used in markdown.

One at each end of a letter, word or phrase does italics. Two does bold, three does bold italaics.

              Hence, m * a * s * h treats the A as italics, (MAS*H)and the single one after s as an individual *

If you want to do it where it visually works, you have to use the \ to escape the asterisk

Iirc, to get m*a*s*h you slap the backspace in front of each asterisk, but I can’t be sure, so I may need to edit this a few times until I get it right, then edit in the correct process

Edit: yup! \ in front of each asterisk does it.

            OP here.

Funny thing. When I posted I saw it as I wrote it [three asterisks]. When I went back to view it it was MAS asterisk H. When I went to edit it I saw the original three asterisks.

Who knows how this stuff works?
