    Two facts:

    1. The military academy graduates are legally prohibited from booing.

    2. JD Vance delivered ONE graduation address this year.

That means they specifically scheduled his single graduating address for the one school that was legally prohibited from utilizing their Freedom of Speech, and booing him. And to confirm that it was on his mind, he actually felt compelled to remind them of that! “You better not boo me, or you’ll get it!”

What a Putz. The Imposter Syndrome just oozes out of these losers. They just stink of the stench of DESPERATION.

Unfortunate to have given them so much power. :')

outdoor event, full of new AF Academy graduates - officers. They probably don’t want to torpedo their brand new commissions by starting beef with the guy one clot away from being their commander in chief.

goddamnit how many times do I have to explain it? they’re not enlisted. they were cadets; some may have been prior service or branch transfers but they’re commissioned officers at this point.

your point has merit - they shouldn’t have taken a commission in the USAF knowing who the CINC is.

brave enough to devote years at a service academy, then seek to serve in the military.

yeah I know it doesn’t mean shit to you.

Copy-past of my comment from the last time this meme was posted:

Obligatory “fuck Vance,” but his comment was made in the context of other commencement speakers’ getting boo’d for their AI comments, and in that sense it actually was an amusing joke (given Vance’s proclivity for gaffes, I suspect credit goes to his speech writer).

Can I get a little more context? Was it a joke bc he was addressing service members or something that literally aren’t allowed to boo him?

MAGA jokes are never jokes, they are veiled threats. Saying “You aren’t allowed to boo me,” isn’t a joke just because he pasted on a phony smile when he said it.

It’s at about the nine minute mark of the clip linked up top. Sounds like a joke to me.

Only makes sense as a joke to me. They already know they aren’t allowed to boo. These are officers (sure they’re butterbars or whatever the hell the AF calls them but they aren’t E-2s)

Vance is a bitch. That is why he was chosen, because the prez knows it will be more difficult to supplant him if Vance is the alternative.

Vance was chosen because he was Peter Thiel’s fuckboi and Thiel wanted an in on Trump’s power, while Trump wanted an in on Thiel’s money/silicon valley political connections. Vance is great because 1) he’s no threat to Trump, so Trump is happy, but 2) he’s loyal to Thiel and if Trump dies he’ll become Thiel’s pet president by default.

When Trump was playing his game of picking a VP, Theil literally walked Vance into Maralago and had meeting with Trump. They walked out of the meeting with Vance as VP.

We know who both Trump and Theil are, so we know that money certainly changed hands, and now Theil holds the leash on the second highest office n the land.

That too, but prez wouldn’t have chosen him if he was capable of being popular enough to supplant him.

Honestly I think Pence just comes down to his refusal to break the law and support Trump’s coup on Jan 6. Trump might blame Pence for Jan 6’s failure, since the whole point of the coup was to prevent Pence from completing his legally-required ceremonial approval of Biden as new president.
