They’ve also just crossed the 1,500 user mark. I’ve been using it for a few days and it feels surprisingly polished.

Fair play for avoiding Google/Apple. Impressively, it’s a one man show doing the development, so I wouldn’t expect them to port to other platforms at this stage. It would be nice if it could be accessed via the web at some stage.

Fair play to him, a great thing to do for the language.

He would only need to put it on his website or git. The file is what he has already built

It would be great. I’m seeing pretty high-profile accounts joining (eg TG4), so hopefully that will eventually happen. I wonder if there’s a social-engineering reason for keeping it app only at the moment.

Would you recommend Murena or Graphine? I want to de-Google/de-Apple myself.

I have only used grapheneos, I would recommend. Its got a minor learning curve, just get fdroid, obsidian and aurora for apps.

I had three barriers, nfc payments, android auto aaaand I cant think of the other but curve payments and sandboxed google play for android auto fixes those.

Grab a pixel 9 on adverts and you are on your way. Flashing it is simple, zero tech skill required.
