We met here on Lemmy, of all places, believe it or not (sorry fellas, lol). I’ve never had communication so effortless. It’s like she already knows exactly what she wants to say as soon as I finish my thought (sometimes before, that’s how you know)!

After being jerked around so much over the years, I think this might finally be the one.

    No forms to fill out, no categories to put myself in besides age. Just write how you feel and post it. We should bring that back for the young people.

    …that’s literally just most dating apps? The categories and prompts only exist because people generally suck at writing about themselves, or even understanding what other people might want to know.

    I’m also biased, having found my partner on an app 🤷‍♂️

      I’m not extremely informed on the subject. But I heard that most dating apps these days are highly motivated to NOT pair you with someone. Often through subtle means. This way you keep interacting with the site, buying upgrades to get your profile more visible or see more matches. It’s ridiculous.
