14 days. Whose gaga?
whose
I don’t think she belongs to anyone.
How old is this? She has at least one skin in Fortnite because of the rhythmic game mode.
2:45PM, Oct 16, 2019. So this post would be 1959 days, 12 hours, 59 minutes and 18 seconds old. (Feb 26 2025 03:44 UTC+1)
Unix timestap or nothing.
About two weeks.
A medieval mounted castle guard.
Is there a single out? I haven’t even checked
Update: yes there is
Old man yells at cloud time: I feel like naming yourself “Ninja” is something a 7 year old would do. I can’t take it seriously. It’s like naming your BG3 rogue “Assassin” or your music group “Guitarists”.
But also I stay away from all influencers, so I don’t know what’s going on in that world.
Id go see a band called “The Guitarists”
naming yourself like a 7 year old is a good way to be popular as a streamer of a game 7 year olds play
My crew are all over 55.
The zero build is fun, give it a shot
What do you feel about the name Gaga?
I like that it’s an homage to the best band ever, Queen.
The juxtaposition of the formal “Lady” and the babyish “Gaga” is mildly interesting.
I’ll give you that, “Lady Ninja” sounds way cooler.
I thought she got her name from the game
It’s a reference to the song Radio Ga Ga by Queen.
And if that’s your nickname growing up and it sticks…? Gotta be a few dude.
I expect most people don’t stick with their nickname from when they were a kid. The kid we called “green shit” (because he’d always play luigi) isn’t obligated to carry on that name. I mean, we lost touch, maybe he is, but somehow I doubt it.
Most do, sounds like you just gave people abusive names and they just stop letting you call them that.
Nicknames are what people call themselves, not the names bullies use lmfao, what a take.
A. You extrapolated from one sample to a generalization. That’s not very sound. There were other nicknames but they were less memorable (eg: “curly” for the kid with curly hair)
B. Giving yourself a nickname is kind of dubious. Not like shortening “Nicholas” to “Nick” , but like “Call me killer” is kind of laughable. Maybe that was just where I grew up, but if you just tried to give yourself a cool name it’d be laughed at as unearned.
You understand that there’s a difference between “calling yourself” and “giving yourself” a nickname? The latter wasn’t stated by me, so I don’t know why you’re bringing it up.
If your buddies called you killer, and you used it, that’s calling yourself the nickname. Of course it’s lame to give yourself one. But when you get introduced to people, using the nickname they would use is okay. You’re just spreading what’s already been given to you.
Calling anyone green shit, even as a joke is just being a shit person, don’t need to extrapolate anything when you’ve laid it bare.
You got me. Me and my friends were little terrible people when we were eight years old. Enjoy your victory.
I wanted to be like kids these days amiright, but yeah you had it right in the first sentence. You are actually just 100% straight up hating.
What exactly is “100% straight up hating”? Are other percentages available? Other directions? Verbs?
This is 10% luck hating 20% skill hating 15% concentrated power of hating 5% pleasure hating 50% pain hating and 100% straight up hating
Fortnite is the new version of Unreal Tournament.
Fortnite is to UT, like a Dacia is to a porsche.
Cool. Now I just need another analogy to explain the comparison between a Dacia to a Porsche.
Errr … fine. I have a bias. I didnt like fortnite. I grew up playing twitch shooters like quake and UT. The most important things that mattered back then was movement, positioning and ofcourse, aim.
Aim was a huge huge part, back then the input was as analog as it got. Nowadays I feel like raw aim has taken a step back, while still being important, It is not THE diferentiating factor any longer, especially in games like fortnite.
I’m bitter about that because my mechanical skill is still up there even as an older dude, but in todays games everyone runs circles around me, especially in games like fortnite.
I miss the arena shooters, the raw input feel of 1:1 of the analog days. But I guess I’m just another older guy screaming at a cloud.
I played Q2, Q3A and UT when I was in my 20s, and I was in a clan, all that stuff. I wasn’t amazing but I was good enough to not embarrass myself.
Still play Fortnite from time to time, and it’s the best of the modern arena shooters. When it came out, it was extremely playable even on my PC which ran PUBG at 1-2 FPS. Apex and Valiant and that lot feel really clunky and slow by comparison for just running around, while Fortnite hits a good balance between those and things like the original UT which were fun but felt like you were running at 50mph which was weird.
I like finishing my day job and relaxing by kicking the butt of the new crop of gamers.
Closer to a paraded corpse than a new version
Context? Were they beefing?
It was something along the lines of Ninja inviting Gaga to play fortnite sometime and she’s like who tf are you.
Who’s ninja? (I really don’t know)
Frontman of Die Antwoord
Now you just confused me for a moment, and I was picturing him streaming Fortnite
A very popular game streamer. This post is pretty old, at least a year.
A previously very popular game streamer
one of the better fortnite streamers
I’ve seen it many times, but it would’ve made sense to post the things that Ninja fella said.
You mean to tell me there isn’t a Lady Gaga skin in Fortnite? They got everyone and everything else 🤷🏻♂️
There are several as they released a music mode/rhythm game and she was featured in a pass.
Right? Or Bjork’s swan dress.
Oh you silly Gaga, it’s Forknife.
I just want to say Paparazzi 2009 at the VMAs is goated
